Adidas SL20 Signal Coral/Dove Grey

Post by pj3a5mmm »

As ever with, Continental rubber is the outsole material and its traction is as reliably excellent as ever. And that’s really the only noteworthy feature on the outsole; Adidas hasn’t over-engineered this shoe and the outsole configuration is fairly ordinary: the grip is good, the flex grooves do their job admirably and we didn’t really notice anything else.

The engineered mesh on the Adidas Sneakers Mens Sale upper is also new and, while also lighter than previous uppers, offers a snug fit and we were impressed with how the upper keeps the foot locked in place even at speed, even when cornering. Often, lighter shoes suffer from a lack of lateral stability meaning your foot can shift in the shoe, but there were no such issues here.

Adidas has kept the weight off by using its new Lightstrike foam, which is also used in the Adidas SL20 Signal Coral/Dove Grey. In the latest Adios and Boston shoes, Lightstrike is used alongside Boost, which has long been Adidas’s go-to performance foam.

Look For the adidas SL20 “Core Black” to release at European adidas retailers. A stateside release is currently in the works.
